Whilst the aim of craft cwtch is to get together and work on our own projects sometimes people in the group want to learn a particular skill. Esther and Kayley were lusting after my monochrome granny square afghan so one week we sat down and I attempted to teach them the gentle art of crochet. Trying to find the right language seems to be the key to teaching, we settled on doughnut metaphors which I hope says more about my students than my teaching!

It all got too much for one Cwtcher who hid under my monochrome creation.
